If pronouns never pop up you’re still free to headcanon the Pokemon whichever gender you like but they just have thicker tops of the eyes. This is just a design choice to hopefully par down questions without having to force pronouns into dialogue. Ivysaur’s character has not and will not change nor will her design. It’s going to be a slightly thicker top of the eye, I’m not giving every lady fabulous wing tips and I’ll never limit or box in a character due to their gender. Whether someone cares or not is their business, but this is something I’m doing to keep my inbox a little clearer.
